In response to the Ghana government’s call to the private sector for help in the fight against Coronavirus (COVID-19), The Ghana Report Foundation embarked on several interventions by offering humanitarian assistance worth over GH¢ 200, 000 at the peak of the pandemic in 2020 while theghanareport.com churned out various reportage on best practices.
Covid PPE Greater Accra Regional Hospital and the Ashaiman Polyclinic
The Ghana Report Foundation sprang into action, mobilised support and donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) and other essential items to health facilities, including the Greater Accra Regional Hospital and the Ashaiman Polyclinic.
The Ghana Report Foundation also extended donations to the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) and the Chief Imam’s office to help combat COVID-19.
In the area of entrepreneurship, skills development and assistance to start-ups for economic growth, The Ghana Report Foundation supported the first runner-up of the Zongo Shark Tank Business Reality Show with an amount of GH¢10,000 in 2022.
The aim was to empower marginalised communities to break the cycle of poverty and inequality.
